God still chooses for His own

Many get worried on the issue of choosing a spouse and the major question asked is: how do I know he is the one? First and foremost, as a born-again child of God, you have no business considering marrying a man who is not born again. You must be sure that he is truly saved and not just a church goer or a nice person.

Do not try to convert or change him. Are you the Holy Ghost?

But most often time, many ladies are willing to make a compromise because of various pressures; from parent, friends, relatives etc. Worse still, the biological clock of a woman naturally speaking, places her within a shorter window for reproduction without complications than the male. But in truth, with God, all things are possible; which was proven by a number of biblical births at old age (John’s and Isaac’s) that were perfectly normal.

As God’s daughter, you can stretch your faith for your pregnancies declaring, “No expensive conceptions and deliveries” (Exo. 1: 19, Isa 66:7), “I shall not be barren” (Exo 23:26), “Perfectly formed babies” (Psalm 139:13-15).

A prophetic word that the Lord gave our mother, Rev Oyenike Areogun is, “No egg, no sperm; yet twins” that covers impossible cases that doctors have given up on because we serve a God that specializes in such impossible cases; who supervised the conception and birth of Jesus without the need for physical sperm and caused 90-year-old Sarah to be a mother, both through natural deliveries. Between these two extreme cases, you will find that your own case is solvable Temi ase se!

That been said, what then should inform your choice of a marital partner? Destiny should be king! Your destiny and the assignments God wants you and your seed to accomplish on Earth should guide your choices.

Destiny is like a light that flashes at birth. John 1:9  tells us that, “That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.” The devil is very much aware of this. So, just as Angels are present at the delivery of every child, demons are also present with the soul purpose to report the intensity of light beamed at one’s birth and from there, begin plots and strategies to make men unfit to fulfill their destinies.

The greater your destiny, the higher the price the devil places on your head. One of the critical area he does this is in marriage because once a man or woman marries wrong, 80% of his/her usefulness to God is stolen from the Earth.

So single lady looking forward to getting married soon, there will be two types of men you will meet- one that is wrong for you or the one chosen for you. He may be nice and even a good Christian, but the right question to ask the Holy Spirit is: Is he the one chosen for me?

God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

Psalm 68:6

God still sets people in families! The truth is that God will not speak in a different way to you when it comes to discerning if ‘he’ is the will of God. God is a God of patterns and with every child of His, He has already established a pattern of communication with you over time in your daily fellowship with Him.

So, be still and relax in your Father’s Love for you. For something as important as marriage, He will not lead you astray and as a correct child of His submitted to your God-ordained pastor, you can always find a confirmer in your pastor. Seek him for counsel amidst other channels God has put in place to keep you from missing it.

The problem many times is that we tend to like what may not be good for us. ‘Good’ many times may not be right.

Another dilemma is that many ladies find themselves in some form of undefined relationship because of their self-will witxh intentions to warm themselves into the heart of a guy for the purpose of marriage. But there is a way in Zion where God leads through His Spirit.

As an anointed daughter, as soon as your flesh begins to desire or ‘crush’ on a person, go to God and find out what He has to say about such person and make a decision to accept His counsel. What may look good today may be nothing down the line. This is why you find so many capable ladies married to wasteful men. Asking some women today: if they knew their spouses would die young or be incessantly sick, they wouldn’t have gone ahead in that marriage.

So, do not waste time on what is not important; let God’s will satisfy you and stop sulking or regretting past mistakes. Rather seek healing of your past and move on.

Another interesting question often asked is: what if I do not like the person God shows me?

The truth is that as God’s child, He already sees ahead and knows who will do  you good all your life. Present situation or appearance of the brother may not look like it; but God knows what you need. It will be in your best interest to submit to God’s will and begin to pray and stand in faith for the things you need formed in him.

These last days, God is doing a quick work and is looking for anointed couples who will birth a Holy seed; a seed of God who will show the world that God’s Kingdom surpasses any other system. You can enlist your home by a commitment to go with God. That been said, give yourselves space to grow and be gentle on each other.
